Goodbye Xanga

Attention all of my xanga followers. As of this moment, or as soon as I am done with it, I will be erasing any trace of myself xanga and deleting all previous entries. You can follow me on twitter, or catch me on facebook from here on out if you want to know what I'm thinking. I will however keep the account for the purpose of commenting, as this was originally for in the first place. Have a good one!

I'm on Twitter

It's probably a much quicker way to get to my thoughts that are shorter rants. I'll still be on here from time to time, but I find that Twitter is good for spurts of anger, rather than full out screaming.

In other news, fuck you, Maine! Fuck you and your complete inability to use those minuscule lobster gut filled heads of your's to actually read some real literature instead of buying into some bigoted religious nut job organization's falsified statements. Fuck you for being a complete waste of good land, and for being too stupid to pull your own heads out of your own asses and think for yourselves but to instead follow a dogma so blindly that you've ignored a good chuck of the most important teachings of it. So fuck you for being morons and hypocrites.

Conservatives should be eaten by polar bears, the ones they want to kill.

*EDIT*
Someone did exactly what I was implying that we should do. It's not a full enough list, but it's a good place to start a boycott of businesses and individuals who contributing to passing California Proposal 8. Fight the honorable fight for those who deserve a chance to be treated as equal humans and not as a label. Stand with your brethren who are disenfranchised. Let our efforts not be in vain. March on, my brothers and sisters. March on.

DO NOT SUPPORT THESE INDIVIDUALS OR BUSINESSES OR ANY BUSINESSES THEY MAY BE ASSOCIATED WITH WHATSOEVER. THANK YOU.

So I see that they banned gay marriage in California, Florida, and Arizona. They also made sure that only heterosexual married couples can adopt children in Arkansas, making it so that all unmarried adults cannot adopt a child (and made it VERY clear that this legislation was particularly targeted at gays). I only have one thing to say about this particular issue in Arkansas:

Fuck you, Arkansas. Fuck you in your bigoted, hate-mongering eye socket. It's great that you're a red pro-life state too. I hope you enjoy taking care of all of those unwanted children. I hope that you like ruining people's lives, because you obviously hate everyone who isn't a white, heterosexual, so-called Christian male. You'd continue to lynch black people, start lynching Latinos, and burn Jews at the stake if you could, because that's just who you are. So you know what? Enjoy not letting people who honestly want to adopt, love, and nurture some kid that no one wanted. Enjoy stealing my tax money with your welfare system to take care of the ungrateful little bastards you've now thrown into the welfare system. And you know what? I hope all of those children that you've stuck into this unfortunate situation don't get loving homes, and are horrendously murdered or tortured by their abusive adopted heterosexual families... or just starve and rot in the street. And I hope you appreciate all that you've done for them.

As for Cali and Florida... I say every gay person AND ally in the state who can afford it should pick up and move elsewhere... like Connecticut or Massachusetts. And take their businesses, economic influence, and money with them. Let California and Florida's economy crash and burn and die like they rightfully deserve.

R.I.P Birm

You know how you're not supposed to find out one of your friends just died? You're not supposed to hear it from the announcer guy in the middle of the hockey game on VS. Yeah, you read that right, that's how I found out that one of my friends passed away.

There's a thousand things that I wish I could say to Ryan right now. Among those things are "Hello. How's life? How's Carolina treating you?" and "Good-bye dear friend."

It literally went like this for me:

The announcer said something like, "Before the faceoff I just wanted to note that the ECHL is mourning the loss of linesman Ryan B... (muffled sounds) who died in a car accident on Sunday..."
And I just stood up like, "Wait, what did he just say?"
Peter says, "I didn't hear. Rewind."
So I did and I couldn't understand it still.
I said that I have a friend named Ryan that's an ECHL ref.

After 4 tries and turning it up we couldn't figure out what he said. I thought I heard Birmingham but I wasn't sure. And you know that I prayed to anyone who would listen that I had heard something different. Then Peter googled it. Sure enough, it really was Ryan Birmingham. And thus began my dizzying fall into the place I'm at right now. I am literally void of any emotion right now. I can't even begin to understand what this is. I just feel empty.

And, this is just that much worse for me because I saw him online a few days ago and was in the middle of something so I figured I could just talk to him later, you know? I figured that there's always later... and there just wasn't this time. There just wasn't a later. That was literally my last thought about him when I saw him sign on, "I'll talk to him later."

Anyone who can read this, just know that we are friends, that I care for you deeply, and that I should have said it a long time ago. At least it's not too late for you to see this even if I don't say hi to you as much as I could, which I promise I will try to do more often from now on.
